We are very happy to be able to release a patch that will eliminate the problem experienced at the Mook hologram where camping or saving while he is fading out may cause him to fail to reappear.

Everyone should download this patch. This patch is a new EXE that co-exists peacefully with the Patch001 file released earlier.

Unzip this patch in the directory where you installed Wizardry 8. When it asks if you wish to replace the Wiz8.exe, say yes (you may want to back up the file first). We are very sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate the assistance of everyone who helped us to track this down.

NOTE: For convenience to those who have not yet downloaded our previously small 38K Wiz8patch001.zip, we have included it within this download. If you have previously installed this patch, you will be asked if you want to overwrite patch001. the answer is, it doesn't matter, as it is the same as what is in your Patches directory.
